Running through the Happiest Place on Earth with RUN3rd Alliance!
Thanks to all of our Charity Athletes and everyone who supported their fundraising and cheering them on during the race weekend. Everyone had a great time and raised almost $34,000 to use toward our after-school running programs!!
We were excited to return to Disneyland® Resort as it was like a homecoming for #RUN3rd. Sean Astin brought his #RUN3rd mission to runDisney events in 2013, inspiring others to run 1st for themselves, 2nd for their families and 3rd for others. From there our #RUN3rd family grew and we turned his mission into a curriculum to help inspire our next generation of runners.
The money raised at this event will go to support our after-school running programs, which are offered at no cost to the student or school. A donation of just $50 supports one of our students through an entire season… which means your fundraising contribution will go a long way in bettering the lives of many students, their families and their communities!
